The desktop.....it's a jungle of germs.A recent study showed there are over 10 million germs on the average desktop. The average toilet seat is much cleaner than your desk.
Think about it. Your housekeeping staff cleans toilets regularly, but personal work areas, like desktops, are rarely ever cleaned. We're surrounded by germs, and add more each time we cough or blow our noses. How do the germs get there? Your hands. Most germs are spread by hands, and hands carry germs throughout the office. You can continually clean your desk, but your hands will redeposit the germs. With one touch, germs spread to co-workers and work surfaces. That could mean absenteeism due to illness and that costs your company money, time, and resources.
